(More customer reviews)This filter works great.The high setting (3) is loud, but if you want it to actually fiter the air, then it is going to be loud.We put it in our loft to filter the majority of the house, and I swear the air is cleaner.At night, we put the filter on the lowest setting (1), and we don't even hear it from the bedroom.I don't have sientific evidence that this is performing better, so I can only provide my word.Now that it has been on for a few days, we will probably leave it at 2, which you could talk over.We have purchased Ionic Breezes in the past, but they don't compare to this filter.(I can't say what I really feel about the Ionic Breezes!)
